In-Home ABA Therapy
We meet your kid where they are — literally, at your kitchen table. In-home ABA brings a trained therapist into the place your child already knows and trusts, so the skills they build actually stick where life happens.
A closer look at in-home aba therapy
In-home ABA therapy is one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis delivered in your own home instead of a clinic. A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) works directly with your child during each session, while a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) designs the treatment plan, sets the goals, and oversees every step of progress.
ABA breaks big skills — talking, following routines, playing, handling frustration — into small, teachable pieces, then builds them back up using your child's own interests and lots of positive reinforcement. Doing that work at home means your child is learning in the exact setting where they'll actually use these skills: at the dinner table, in their bedroom, by the back door.
Your BCBA reviews data regularly and adjusts the plan as your child grows. Because we're in your home, we can also weave in the real moments of your day — mealtimes, getting dressed, sibling squabbles — so progress shows up in everyday life, not just in a session.
Who benefits most
How it actually works
It starts with an assessment. Your BCBA visits, gets to know your child and your family, and builds an individualized plan around the goals that matter most to you. From there, your RBT comes to your home on a regular schedule to run sessions — often several hours at a time, several days a week, depending on what your child needs.
Sessions look a lot like focused play. Your therapist follows your child's lead, builds in their favorite toys and activities, and turns ordinary moments into chances to practice and grow. You're never stuck in a waiting room — you're welcome to watch, ask questions, and get coached on what's working.
Your BCBA checks in often, tracks data on every goal, and keeps you in the loop with regular updates. As your child masters skills, the plan evolves with them.
How Getting Started Works
From your first phone call to your child's first session — and every step after — here's exactly how it goes.
Talk to a BCBA
Call, text, or fill out the form. A real person picks up, and a BCBA calls you back for an honest conversation about your child — no scripts, no sales pitch.
In-Home Assessment
Your BCBA meets your child where they're comfortable — at home — to understand their strengths, their challenges, and what matters most to your family.
We Verify Your Insurance
We call your insurance, confirm your benefits, and tell you exactly what's covered before anything starts. Most Iowa families pay little or nothing. Zero surprises.
Therapy Starts at Home
We match your child with the therapist who's the right fit and build a plan around their goals. Sessions start in the comfort of your home, on your schedule.
Progress You Can See
Your BCBA tracks every goal and reviews the data with you regularly. You'll always know what's working, what's next, and how far your child has come.
We Stick With You
As your child grows, we adjust the plan, keep coaching you, and stay just a text away. This is a long-haul partnership — not a drop-off and goodbye.

Straight answers. If yours isn't here, just call or text us.
For most Iowa families, in-home ABA costs little to nothing out of pocket. We're in-network with Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield and work with other commercial plans, with Iowa Medicaid coming soon. We'll verify your benefits up front and walk you through exactly what, if anything, you'd owe.
It depends on your child's needs and goals, which your BCBA determines during the initial assessment. Some children do best with focused, part-time hours, while younger kids in early intervention often benefit from more intensive schedules. We'll recommend an amount and build a schedule that fits your family's life.
Yes, a parent or approved caregiver needs to be present in the home during sessions. You don't have to sit in on every minute, but staying nearby keeps things safe and gives you the chance to learn the strategies we're using. Parent involvement is one of the biggest drivers of lasting progress.
In almost all cases, yes. ABA therapy for autism is a covered benefit under Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield and most private insurance plans in the state, with Iowa Medicaid coming soon.
